Bugs in the Garden
Children discover helpful and harmful bugs, biodiversity, and the role insects play in the garden ecosystem.
Sensory
Children are introduced to a variety of sensory plants as they explore different textures, colours, and smells through hands-on activities, music, and engaging sensory experiences. Planting options are available at an additional cost.
Bush Tucker
Meet Australian native Bush Tucker plants and learn about their uses and where they grow through hands-on activities, fun songs, and engaging learning experiences. Planting options are available at an additional cost.
Worm Tower Installation
A practical sustainability session introducing children to composting, worms, and reducing food waste through a worm tower installation.
Composting and Worms
A fun, hands-on session where children learn how food scraps can turn into healthy soil through composting. They are introduced to worms and how they help break down waste and support plant growth.
The session includes activities, songs, and simple explanations to help children understand how composting helps the environment.
These sessions can be delivered individually as one-off incursions or combined into a structured term program tailored to your centre.
